auto. tranny

I have a 2002 diesel with a auto.tranny had it completly rebuilt when I left Wyoming to Calif. Now at 35 miles an hour or so it starts shifting up and down real eratic. If I go up a hill at a low speed it will go crazy and dang near take the u joints out. Took it to the tranny shop where I have a warranty and they said it,s fine but for 165 bucks they can insulate a wire to the comp. that may stop it. Anyone know anything about this? It never done this before just got where it wouldnt shift. Thanks Howdy

You can insulated the wire yourself. You can also clean your battery terminals and reset the voltage on the APPS (Directions are in Tech Facts)

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
That sounds like a great excuse after taking your money. Didn't do this before Ohaul is my guess. If you are somewhat comfortable with electrical repairs, I have a suggestion.
One issue of common is grounds and connections. Cleaned and tight is the word. The alternator has been a issue occasionally. Brushes arcing or capicator weak. Take ignition condenser and hook to alt output terminal and ground. Very effective on controlling RFI signals coming from alternator. In your case carefully looking at wiring around tranny might be helpful. There is also possible that wiring inside tranny has been compromised at valve body. Or it could be the quality of OHaul did not meet expectations. JMHO
