auto to manual swap
Anyone know of a good place to purchase everything to do a swap to a manual. I love my truck, but I wanted a manual when I bought it, Anyhow, The auto this time only has about 15,000 miles on it, the dealership did it. I wish I knew someone close here in eastern Colorado that had a manual wanting a auto I would trade them parts... Any response would be great. Thanks Guys!

inless you absolutly love the truck save your self the hassel and sell it and buy a manual. Its never as easy as it sounds. if you love the truck so much buy a donor truck with the wiring and everything and swap it over.
Agree with above.
If you need a manual truck sell and re buy, or have your auto rebuilt by any of the mentioned builders posted everyday. Myself I drove to IA from CO to have Dave (Goerend) rebuild mine and I still smile everyday driving now. I wanted a manual but got an auto for the wife to drive while towing. Hated the stocker but it didn't fail, the converter was almost gone at 75k. New converter, input, band, VB and a few other parts and a deeper pan ~$2600 I can't believe it's the same truck after.
