manual to auto swap

Hi all,
I posted a message on this subject back a few months ago, and am just now doing the swap. I have a 93 Dodge truck that originally had a manual trans, and have installed a 518 from a 92 turbo diesel. I have the transmission and flexplate, and have it mounted in the truck. I am now in need of a throttle position sensor, the tps bracket, the tps connector plug, and automatic PCM(computer), since the manual computer is different than the manual trans computer. I will also need a trans temp switch, and some wiring pins to connect the tps and trans temp switch to the pcm to make it all work. Does anyone out there have any of these parts left over after swapping an auto to a manual trans in their rig? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check with DTR member PeteRR, he is currently having the motor out of a '92 with an automatic swapped into his '75 crew cab and converting to an NV4500 at the same time. He should be able to set you up with everything you need.

Hi Texas,

There was nothing wrong with the manual transmission, but I am installing the CTD in a 48 Ford cab over truck, and I had to put the engine behind the cab, and I couldn't shift it back there Therefore the automatic had to be used. That is the ONLY reason I didn't leave the manual attached. I sold the manual Getrag on ebay a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks wannadiesel for the connection to PeteRR on the parts. I will email him asap
