Asssistance Required

Good afternoon. I am replacing the original lift pump with a NAPA newly designed lift pump. In removing the intake banjo fitting from the diesel line, at the quick connect fitting, the banjo portion of the fitting just broke off leaving part of the fitting inside the fuel line. I presently have this part soaking in WD40.

I would appreciate any advice on how to remove the stuck section of the old banjo line. There is just enough of the line sticking out from the fuel line to get a pair of pliers on.

Best regards

I would suggest using an easy out tap if it will work.

Also, maybe soak it in KROIL or PB Blaster. Diesel is a better solvent in this case than wd-40.
