APPS Reset ????
My APPS went out on me, 2nd time, first time was in 2004, so I took it to the dealer to get it fixed. In 2004 it cost me $420 to get it scanned and replaced. Yesterday it was $120 for the scan and $720 plus 8.3 sales tax for the sensor and install. I could buy a OEM replacement from Amazon.com for $420 or a Timbo for $165. I read Timbos replacement instructions and sent off an order yesterday afternoon.

So I was getting some surging on the way into work this morning and I started reading and it led me to reset/ recalibrate the APPS. After the reset, now the truck wont start. HELP!
The truck was running fine and only surging in 5th and 6th gear. I pulled over and was going to change the fuel filter but i didn't have a 28mm to get the cap off so I jumped back on the road and would change it here at work. Driving i was going 65+ mph and there was no more surging. I still attempted the APPS reset multiple times and it still wont start. The truck started and idled fine after the fuel filter change, but not after the reset. I hope I can get a response soon on this so i can get this thing back running and drive home.

The truck just cranks but doesn't start. I turned the valve to drain the fuel filter bowl and there was fuel in there. and after two more tries, there was still fuel in there again.
I did notice that the first time I felt it a couple days ago, it was when the cruise was on, and I havent used it since to see if it happened again.
I did cycle the key to check for codes and there were none. My buddy is bringing his scan tool tomorrow so we can scan it to see the hard and soft codes on it.
