APPS reset, Speedo recalibrate?

I reset my APPS earlier this week and noticed that my trip-odometer was reset back to 0.0... now I'm wondering if I have to go back to the dealer to have my speedometer recalibrated since I'm running 285/75 R16 instead of the stock 145's... The revolutions per mile for the larger tire size.

Good luck. I went from 245's to 265's and they wouldn't do it for me. Said it had something to do with all the blowouts that the suv's have been having. I bought a little calibration box from Rickson Tire and that solved the problem. Dealers su<&.....

I have actually had it done before, I just did not know if after I performed the APPS reset the revolutions per mile setting was reset back to the factory default. If know body knows, I'll run down to the dealer soon and see if they will check it for me and report back.

You shouldn't have to have the speedo reset.

I've never heard of the trip OD resetting during an APPS reset though, just the radio station presets.

My Odometer always goes back to "0" when I disconnect the negative battery terminals. I thought they all did ??

It does not affect the speedometer reset.

I guess no ones ever mentioned that part, and I haven't had the opportunity to disconnect both of mine yet.

Still learning something new.
