Apps

I have the code for low voltage to the apps. I am guessing that the reset procedure won't take care of it and I will need a new one. Does anyone know the p/n and or the price for the new throttle position sensor?

Thank you.

You need to list your truck and if it's an auto or not. You can try resetting the voltage. I have the instructions, so send me a PM with your email if you need them.

Thats a little more then I expected. I think its worth trying to reset it first. Doubt that will take care of it, but its worth a try.

piperca, never got the email. Can you try to resend it? I'll pm my email address again.

Thanks

bite the bullet

bite the bullet and replace it, you'll be glad you did, after multiple months of resets I finally replaced mine and the truck runs like it did the first day I bought it. I wish I had done it sooner. $450 was money well spent.

k9judge, Just trying to clear up things in mind, When the apps is going out, is the only problem dead pedal or does the truck also run bad? Mine is running real bad and I suspect the Apps with the info I'm getting but most of the post talk mainly about dead pedal.

Regards,
Gene

Yes, mine ran like s__t when the apps was acting up. If you are showing "0122" as your code and nothing else, you have a bad apps. You can nurse it for a while with the reset but eventually it will be so bad your truck will hardly get out of its own way. If you have the money, replace it. That is really the only way to correct this problem. As a side note, I am appealing my repair bill to Dodge to have them consider extending the warranty on the APPS due to all the documented problems with it. Wish me luck.
