Anyone have or know where to get pinion yoke other than dealer?
Looking for a pinion yoke (backside of front axle). Dealer want about $540 for one. Just trying to find some other/less expensive options.
Story: Front u-joint (the one right behind the differential on front axle) went out this morning. Crawled underneath, found what was making the noise. I couldn't tell if the cross-straps on that u-joint were loose for sure (snow, cold, double-checking) so I proceeded to back out the bolts a little and retighten them. One broke. Choice words were said. Dealer was the only shop in town that could look at the truck today. They said there's is not enough of the bolt remaining to get it out (tried tapping it, tack welding, etc. supposedly to get the bold out). The shop is saying I need a new yoke, if they proceed further to get the rest of the bolt out, the yoke will be no good. Assuming that there is indeed not enough bolt to get to, I'm looking for less expensive options than the dealer for replacement parts. Thanks.
Mopar part no. on the yoke is: 4164120AB

Quad 4X4, or virtually any driveline place can get them, they are standard Dana parts.
Link to Quad's offering:

Also on Fleabay, user redliner usually has them floating around ( he is also a member on this site ).
Should be under a hundred bucks no problem.

Are you sure the dealer quoted you on the right part?
I replaced my front yoke with a factory dealer part, it was a Mopar boxed Spicer yoke, cost me $85 Cdn.
Might want to check again.
