My 98.5 3500 has started when you let off the throttle the trans clutch won't kick in sometimes I can hit the brake and it will work and sometimes it will kick in and right back out. Anyone else had this problem? I've already replaced the apps, transmission,both batteries,and put on a dtr noise filter now this. It seems to want to do it when the mornings are getting cooler and the heaters stay on alittle longer. Thanks

i second. but from what i gather you dont have converter lock-up?

 

I'd say he has converter non unlock

 

Yeah the converter does not unlock when I let off the pedal and now it's starting to gear hunt again.
