Annoying rattle underneath
Annoying rattle underneath
Recently I've got an annoying rattle coming from underneath the truck. I think it came shortly after the clutch job that I had done not too long ago.
It sounds sort of like a loose heat shield but I don't have one... and the exhaust is not hitting anywhere
It is very easy to hear when I come slowing down to a stop light but goes away when I come to a stop so I can't leave the engine running and look underneath to hear exactly where exactly its coming from. I know this is a bit vague but any ideas?? The sound is killing me

Probably not it, but the six speed will do that sometimes as you slow down, releasing the clutch stops it. Mine has not done that in a long time, but seems to after reassembling the clutch. On mine it is gear rattle. Just a thought.
