I had the front engine seal leaking and the oil filled the altenator. I took altenator apart (Bosch) 2001 2500. The brass rings where brushes run on are cut down pretty deep. Are these rings available to replace? I am still charging a little over 14 after washing oil out of it.

 

that kind of part is usally a rebuilder part , try to fine a builder in your area , sometimes that get an attitude about selling parts .
