I was told altenator is wrong one.
My shifting problem is still here. I brought the truck in today to get a code reading and was told that the altenator is at fault for shifting problem.
The old alt, was a Nippon Denso and the new rebuilt one was a Bosch. The paper in the box said that the new one was a direct replacement for old one.
The pulley on the new one is about 1/32 larger across. Old altenator always charged around 13 volts, new one charges 14 volts. One thread suggestion was to unplug alt, and drive it. I tried and same shifting problem. I don't have much hair left to pull out, but I get the urge to pull some more out.
