AirTex LP Update

I have a Vulcan Big Line kit. My 4th Carter died at 66k.
How are the AirTex pump working for those of you that have them?
What other options might be better with the bigline kit?
I also plan to put on a water/fuel sperator that NAPA sells. Any thoughts on this?

I had 3 go bad on 1 trip a couple of years ago...might have got some bad fuel or something. Now I'm running a Fass DDRPII and haven't had a problem since.

I've been running one for a little over a year now with no problems. If i have to replace it, I would probably get Raptor's new direct replacement or a Fass ddrp.

Been running one for about a year and a half zero issues. I believe a lot of failures of any pump are due to a bad screen or no screen in the tank. No pump can survive with junk being run through it.

I orderedthe E7153. Vulcan recommebded a 70-90 micron mesh filter before the pump, makes sense.
I found one at Summit, Earls performance 230206 for $38 & $12 for barb fittings. Hopefully this will increase their longevity. May have been the Carter issuue too, although I tend to think they are jubk arfter 4 in 65k.
