we don't have o'rielies around here, where else can a guy get an airtex pump?

Auto Zone and Carquest both have them here in Colo. Make sure it's the new style pump, because some stores have old stock and it's just the old carter pump.

The easiest way to tell is that the new style pumps have the wiring attached to the pump and it comes out of the end of the pump right below the fitting for the output of the pump.

This is the new Airtex. A complete redesign from the POS Carter and hopefully this will solve the issues.
