It can be mounted in either position. The most common application is as a replacement pump in the stock location.

save your money for something stronger. ive had it for a couple of months with stock lines in stock position it shows 11-12 psi @ idle and 5 while crusing and can go down to 0 when to the floor. not gonna get it. airdog coming soon. i think maybe with the relocation kit and some bigger lines it may be better, but after all of that im getting the airdog and do it right. like most people say on here, airtex is just a temp fix for a known 24v problem.

Or a Walbro... I'm quite pleased with mine... rock steady pressures. Maybe drops 1psi at WOT. I have 3/8" lines and stock filter. It's mounted on the frame. And it's cheaper and quieter than the FASS! Never even a hickup in over a year.

Hrm I must be a lucky guy. I got the new version OEM lift pump not sure on the maker but I show 13-14psi idling and nothing below 6psi on it hard around 2500 rpm with a chip on my pickup going on two years now

Yes, that is correct. GDP can set you up. It's the 392 with the install kit.

He also has an entire kit w/ fittings and lines if you want to do it as a system. I plumbed my own since I have a local shop where I can get all the AN fittings and diesel fuel hose I want.
