MAJOR UPDATE! Got to Maryland (flew out from Wisconsin) Its a 53 Block and its cracked. Dealer selling the truck can't see nothing and claims no problem. Its patched with black silicon. We can see it but he can't. The item number is in my first post guys beware of this truck.I'm sure its going to be relisted and it is a very very clean truck.

Yea I'm not afraid of it but I'm not gonna pay 12 grand for a truck that has a bad block. And I doubt he'll take what I'd give him for it. I'm sure he'll find some unsuspecting soul to dive in.

I was watching that truck last week and saw this am that it was relisted. Now I know why. Make sure you leave negative feedback. I know I always read it.
I'll email him and ask him about it.

I just emailed him. Here's a copy. I'll post up his reply, if he replies.
Hi, I just saw on one of the diesel forums that someone had won this truck only to come look at it and found the block to be cracked. I'm new to diesels but I have heard that there are some #53 blocks that are know to have problems. Does this truck indeed have a cracked block? If so, what have you done to fix it? If you say not, do you have proof that it isn't? I'd like to know before bidding. Could you have a local Dodge dealer or Cummins dealer inspect it 3rd party and then post a picture of their findings? That would go a long way in establishing credibility. Or I guess you could try to sell it to someone who doesn't know any better.
Thanks.
