i been speaking to advance adapters and there talking that they have a adapter kit in proto stages that mates an allison automatic inplace of the weak 47re

And you will still have to spend money on the Allison to up grade it.
Yes we would like to have better gear spread--especially in the 3rd 4 th area, but the allison isn't capable of lasting long behind a modded Cummins.
I'd like to see a OD ratio for the 47Re that is .75 instead of the .69

None that I can see. Some feel the mileage is better...due to higher torque while accelerating...but has not been documented.

STORX - I agree with j-fox. A lot of money for a stock tranny...especially when there are reports the Allison is not doing spectacularly in the D-Max. Bet you could get a DTT ( or any of he big 4) for same or less money.
