allright finally moved into newer truck, bought y2k 4x4 dually club cab 6spd ctd of course, 1st of all seems like it don't have as much power I guess what I mean is on my 12v when you stepped on it it felt like you were doing something this you step on it and you get going but just not the same, yet its rated better in hp & Torque, also what are some simple mods have guages on the way one other thing I forgot just bought this truck two days ago used it to haul a 93 jeep for about 500 miles across the state of il. ( all Flat) got 11 mpg can't be right?

Check your fuel pressure to make sure your lift pump is working to its capacity. Thats the electric fuel pump that provides fuel for the inj. pump. that could explain why the lack of power and low mileage.

I'd change all the fluids and filters, unless you know FOR A FACT that they were changed very recently prior to your purchase. The clogged/contaminated fuel filter might be the reason for for the low power/mpg. Also, the IAT sensor should be checked/cleaned if need be.

Might try reseting the APPS also, that can make a big difference in response and full power.

While you are in there it would be a good time to put some high flow banjo bolts in there. It will help your pumps and give you about 3psi across the board.
Just my $0.02 worth.
