2002 drivetrain warranty
Ok, my 2002 is coming up on 70,000 miles here in week or two. I have 69,800 on it right now. Now i have had the VB replaced under warranty and that is all the truck has had wrong with it aside from a lift pump or two. Now I wanna know if the warranty on the driveline is 7/70,000 or if its 7/100,000. I know the cummins warranty is 5/100,000. The dealer said when i had it in before back in november for the VB that it was under warranty still but he didn't say till what mileage. And on here i have seen two different opinions on the driveline warranty for 02 trucks. So what I'm after is which is it and i was think of taking the truck in for a good look over by the dealer while its still under warranty? Thanks

2002 had several different warranties dependent on when the truck was first placed in service. You need to go to a dealer and have them run your VIN do determine which plan you have. Other wise its anybodys guess.
Early 2002 trucks like mine were 3/36. Dodge introduced a 7/70 later in the model year to help clear out the 2nd gen trucks since the 3rd gen was coming out in the 2003 model year. The engine warranty was 5/100.
