Anyone know off-hand if the water pump is covered under the 100,000warranty? Just curious if that is another of those "wear parts" deals. My pump failed (slowly, thankfully!) at 70,000 miles. I didn't have time nor the desire to hassle with the dealer, so took it to my local mechanic for immediate service.

Water pump was covered under 100,000 mile engine warranty on truck at work 100%. Truck had 78,000 on it when it went up. (slowly as well - thankfully)
