06 models have VP44?
My truck obviously has one and a friend has bought an 06 and wants to know if he has to watch for IP problems like we do... Anyone? Thanks...

If not a VP44, is what is on it pretty trouble free?

It's a CP3. Yes, it has proven to be much more reliable than the older style Injection Pump.
