02 79,000 on the clock warranty Q
Is a torque converter covered under the 100,000 mile power train warranty? I've got my manual in hand and all it talks about is engine and turbo and some fuel pump.
I can't find anything about a trans part. I bought a 2 year warranty that expired last spring and now my converter is almost shot. Needs replaced soon. Dealers are closed now for the next few days for the holidays and would like some backup ammo if it's covered.
I don't want a stock replacement but if I can get back on the road for cheep I'll take it.
Thanks and Happy New Year.

I doubt it will cover the torque converter and I am pretty sure once they see the mods you have, they will probably void the warranty anyway.
Not to mention that the EZ and TST will probably toast a stock converter in no time and you would be right back to where you are now.
