I have a friend with a 2000 5sp ctd that lost his injection pump. The truck has no mods on it. My truck is a 2001 with an auto. I've been thinking of getting a high performance pump and was wondering it my pump would work on his truck. The thing im worried about my pump is this---i didn't have a fuel guage and the truck was driven 6 months with the lift pump not working. Yes you read right. The lift pump went out, the truck was worked, and the injection pump is still plugging away. Would i be screwing my friend over by cheap selling him my pump.

My other question is should I even get a high performance pump. Do i need one. What will my truck run like with it. How will it idle. And if i do get one, what should i get.

Sents you both have SO motors I say yes they will enterchange, If he's a good friend I would give him a little warrenty on it. AS for how much it will help you, I would call Doug at PDW and ask him, I think after so much HP there's no differents in the hrvp and the SO vp. I think that's what I've herd the big boys say. What part of nw ark are you in?
