Unhappy " You Wont Believe This One" !!!!

Hello all......And YES I AM NOT ALL THERE UP- STAIRS IN THE HEAD DEPT.......We'll let start out by saying that these First gens seem to run my LIFE.....and ruin it too !!! As many of you know I searched for a long time to try and find the "PERFECT" 1st gen, and I thought that I had found it with the 1992 W350 LE Dually I bought last MARCH........anyway, I had decided to sell it in August, and try to find a cleaner one, (which by the way if you find one that is **** near perfect please DO CALL OR E-MAIL ME, ) Anyway I tried E-BAY and it did'nt seem to workout, the guy backed out of it, without even seeing it.......I figured I would have to hang on to it for a while.......but a customer, that I deal with on some BIG trucks and trailers came in and was looking at it while I was washing it one night said he liked it, and wanted one just like it......So I told him he could own it, if he could understand that I had alot of money in it and that I could NOT give it away.......anyway we struck a deal and after a good down stroke and a bunch of payments he had it PAID OFF IN FULL......Well ALMOST......The day he made the last payment he asked me if I would deliver it to his house, I said sure, and parked it in his garage at his house. Now being a DEALER, I had to charge him sale tax, which when I went back to the paperwork about 2 weeks ago I realized he had never paid it......And I truly had forgot about it, along with the fact that I had NOT given him the TITLE/OWERSHIP.......So I decided to call him and get the last couple hundred bucks so I could transfer the TITLE for him........When I called him he told me he had NOT forgot, things were just a little tight, he also informed me he had NOT even moved the truck yet !!!! "He has NOT moved it in 3 months" ???? He told me, he would like to sell it, and that it had to go "Cause Christmas is right around the corner"...... Well you guessed it, I made him an offer and he said OK, So I guess it's back in my hands again......it all actually happened way to fast, one minute I was trying to transfer it into his name the next minute I was counting out money.......I'm NOT saying I will keep it this time either, but I figured since there was'nt anything around or on E-bay......So now that I have spent my FUN money, I suppose there will be all kinds of PERFECT 1st gen show up FOR SALE......And thats fine, I will go to a lone shark and borrow the money for the right truck !!!! Sorry if I borred you, I had to share that.....CANUCKTRUCKS

Glad it worked out for you,,,, or did it work out for you? That's a sign to keep the truck and live happily ever after.

Thanks for the story

Here is the real question, did you make money on the deal or not . . . ?

Seriously, though, how bad is the truck that you want to get rid of it? Just relax and drive . . . Or pump money into her until she is exactly what you want.

It's a funny story, though.

Hang in there.

You might be supprised how clean this truck is, the only problem with the truck is ...ME......I am INFATUATED with these things and I cant get the exact truck I want......I must admit this site feels just like home.....No-one pays attention to my complaining about finding a clean enough truck..... Which is good on your part......I did NOT make any money on the truck when I sold it the first time, I broke even, which is real good in this game, especially when you buy out of desire and NOT need or sensability......anyway if you want to see it, there are pics in my gallery and it was "Truck of the month" in July/04.....Canucktrucks

Everywhere I go, people want to buy my truck, the paint is taking a beating (because of what I do) but I don't want to let mine go. though I do wish it was the extended cab.

I guess trucks sell in certain areas better than others.

Rich

If your looking to sell, I will suggest a good site, guys looking for tow rigs

e-mail me for the link
