Wow that tire lived a hard life and finally decided it could take no more!

Congrats on the new job as well

I want you to know that I try at least once a day to add to the local supply at the waste treatment center, purely as an effort to keep a guy like you collecting a paycheck...it is the least I can do

Scary how old was that tire? The last four digits of the DOT code on one side of the tire is the week and year the tire was made.

Thank you and thank you!

Believe me, I'll be keeping myself in a job as well. Along with 2.5 million residents living within a 479-square-mile of central and northwest Orange County.

"1504". Is that January 5, 2004 or the 15th week in 2004, sometime near the end of March? Regardless, it's old. I don't have a clue as to how many miles were put on them prior to me owning the truck. I do know that the truck sat for almost 5 years before I got it. The only amount of miles they got after that was 30 at most going to the scrapyard.

I believe that would be the 15th week of 2004. Tire companies claim 5 years is all a tire is good for so it was kind of old especially with direct sun light all the time.

You mean Coopers. They make the futura's for Pep Boys. It's a dually, he still had a good tire on that corner.
