Unless it's untaxed, then it's red.

worried about a sound, slipping reverse band?
the truck has made this odd sound a few times, always in reverse, and only when I'm straining it a little. if I'm in deep snow and try to reverse, it makes a buzzing, vibrating that sounds like its comming form the trans. the only other time its done it was pulling somebody out in reverse. (i know thats bad form, couldnt get hooked any other way)
if you turn your speakers up, right about 33 - 35 seconds into this video you can hear it. i dont want to loose reverse!!

thanks

i've been as gentile as possible whenever it makes the sound, are you saying its not about to break something?
what is the throttle valve doing that makes the sound?

It is tough to hear on youtube but from past experience with that noise in reverse I'd say no worries on splattering the trans. The valve vibrates in the bore creating that buzzing noise a shift kit will eliminate it or just the valve from sonnax.Worst case is the bore is badly worn and you will have to use the oversize one.Check there site it offers a good explanation
