i got it all finished on monday, what i did on the front spring was take the rear bracket off which is a piece of flat strap about 4 inches long with 2 holes drilled in it, its the piece that the springs bolts to in the rear, i replaced it with a piece of 3/8's flat strap 1.5 inches longer,

and on the rear springs again i took the back bracket off and since the spring is above the bracket i actually had to make shorter brackets so it will sit higher, i followed the factory bends and drilled the 3/8's metal to the same diamater holes as before,

i decided to only lift the truck 1.5 inches because anything after that the tires started looking to small

my plan is once i wear out my 37s what i plan on doing is ordering the skyjacker 6 inch full spring replacements and keep the factory 6 inch block or i might go down to a 4 inch block that way ill have the 6 inch lift springs plus another 4-6 inches on top of that, and then ill get a set of custom springs for the truck and ill probablly run 44'' tires

Ryan,

That is just with a 6" lift? Which lift? Do they rub when you wheel which you obviously do by looking at all the mud!!

Was it new springs or a block , etc. setup? How bad do they rub in the "dirt" if you will?

I've had 36 14.50 TSLs on my 92 with 6" 37 12.50s on my 93 with 4" and 16/38.5s on my 440 truck with 3" and cutout flares.
Watch out running longer shackles on the front axle. Without shimming it, you'll probably get some pretty serious u-joint bind.
