the hubcentric actually sounds like they're for chebbies.. Why do you need aftermarket wheels?

Those should work. I have 16x7's with 3.75" backspacing, so those will tuck in just about 1/4" more than mine. I have 33x10's on mine, no lift, no rubs.

while we're on the subject, does anyone know where you can find alum whls in 15" with about a 3.5" backspace for a set of rear slicks. seems like most of the diameters i'm interested in [3.07 rear]are in 15". all i can find are steel whls. probably want 10" wide. tc.

To go with a 15 inch wheel, I'm almost certain you will have to grind the calipers down to prevent the wheel from rubbing the calipers. I know I had to on mine, it sucked, but was worth it!

I'm looking for a set of wheels for my D-250, anyone know the stock width/backspacing of the 16" steel wheels? I would like to get something close to the same so they don't stick way out.

Thanks,
Jason
