Wheel Bearings?

For about almost a month now I feel a slight vibration or grinding type thing happening while turning the wheel at slow speeds. Of course, it is getting worse. I have searched the old threads and the predominant thing that comes up is the wheel bearings. This is a 2wd 93 model.

The funny thing is, it only seems to do it when I haul my 3k pound bumper pull trailer. I drove it today for the first time in a while without it and I didn't really feel it happening.

It really feels like it is coming from the front but I could be wrong. I really feel it in the steering wheel when it happens. Does the Wheel Bearings sound like the most logical explination?

Thanks

Make sure your caliper isn't hanging up, but jack it up and see if the wheel has any up/down/in/out play. Pop the hub off and see if it smells burned. If you go too long with a loose bearing, you can heat the hub and cause it to expand, and they'll never fit right.

Now what can it be....

ok I put new pads on front brakes, new calipers, and new bearings. The bearings were not bad. The calipers were sticking causing uneven wear to the pads causing it to shake while stopping.

This was not the issure though. The truck is still vibrating while turning the wheel at slow speeds. It stops if you push in the clutch.

Any other ideas? The rear end was rebuilt about 3 months ago. HOPE IT DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THAT!!!

I can feel a very slight vibration from somewhere as speed increases. It is not bad but I can tell it is there, along with a slight humming sound.
???????????

U-joints carrier bearing rear end??????

From what I've read on this forum it sounds like the U-Joins on the outboard front axles. Mine has been doing this for about a month at very slow speeds while turning left. I'm going to jack it up this weekend and see if I notice anything with the U-Joints.

If it has a limited slip rear, dump a bottle of friction modifier in the axle.
