wheel back spacing

hey guy's looking at getting new wheel;s and tires and the wheel I'm looking at have a 5 in back spacing ,have been running 16.5 wheel's and tires for years but want to go to a 17 Will I be ok with a 5 in back spacing on a 93 4x4 ??

Never going to claim to be a pro about this, but I did sleep well last night.
5 in of back spacing is a lot. Seems to me you would rub when you turn.
going from first gen wheels to 2 gen, I had to do 2 in spacers just to reduce the back spacing enough not to rub.
