You want to get as close to stock as possible. 6-6.25", I forget the exact dimension. I put Method wheels with 5.75" backspacing and 35x12.5x18s on my dad's '06 with a Carli leveling kit and we have no rubbing but that's because the backspacing is a little less and it sets the wheels and tires out a bit from the stock position.

Nice looking truck, I like the Method wheels. Would you be able to post a photo from along the side of the truck to show how much the tires stick out?

And do you think you would have any rubbing issues if you didnt use the leveling kit? I plan on running the same wheels and tires but trying to not level it.

Thanks!

I'll take some pics tomorrow. They only stick out what looks like about 1-1.5" from the fenders. When we ordered the wheels, the guys at Method said the most backspacing they had with those was 5.75". With that backspacing (at most, 1/2" outside of stock), I'd like to think the 35s wouldn't rub on the control arms or fenders. Looking at the following picture though, trimming on the inner fender well might have to be done without a leveling kit. As it sits, with the stock mud flaps, the tire just barely rubs the inside lip of the mud flap turning either direction.

Looks good, a little wider stance gives the truck a solid appearance but not to crazy.

Thanks!

Hey, one more question for jimbo486. The Method wheel website states their wheels are 4.75" back spacing and you said the ones in photo are 5.75". Did you measure the wheels and is the website wrong or is your post a typo? I will call them on Monday to be sure but wanted to know for sure what you had since I like the look fitment.

Thanks again.

I ordered the wheels at 4 wheel parts and was concerned about the backspacing so I had the parts guy call and find out if they had any other choices. Sure enough, 5.75" is the most they had in those wheels.
