Re:What's it worth??
craig93,I have done a buyandsell search I havn't been able to find a truck for under ten. There really isn't much of a selection to get an idea from, even then they are quadcab or LE versions. Some what of an apple to orange comparison.
98ramtough, I have a buddy that might buy it, if that is all it is worth. But thanks for the thought.

Re:What's it worth??
The problem is with these trucks is age. Banks and dealers go by the Kelly Blue Book and the NADA book. I have a 92' D-350 as you can see by my signature. It is a LE and in pretty fair shape. It only books for about $4200. So when selling or trading these trucks in you have to keep in mind that you are only going to get what the maximum they book for from a dealer. And I don't know many that will give you that much. Also keep in mind that when selling to a individual they are only going to be able to pay what the bank will loan, unless they have the cash on hand and most do not. Remember that most financial institutions will only loan 60-80% of the retail value on this old of a used vehicle. I would never trade one of these trucks in. I would try to sell it myself. If you trade you will loose money. These motors are the only thing that makes these trucks orth over $2000. Hope this helps some. Bill

Re:What's it worth??
Just did a quick check of the local area, only truck close is a 91 5spd 4x4 with 378K, "excellent condition"...it looks good..it's an LE, and it's at a dealer for $5900...this is good deal from what I have seen around here, and a rare deal. The next truck close starts at 8K and goes up and up from there...The Cummins along with most trucks are holding their value in this area...but as was mentioned, if a dealer would give you $5500, you know it's worth a couple K more..a quick paint job and it's worth 8 or 9k in this area..

If the truck is mechanically sound, and the interior is fairly clean, the body decent without the peeling paint, then the dealer will sell that truck for at least $12,000.
I saw a 92 5spd, CC, badly worn interior, so-so paint, some drivetrain leaks, go for $21,000. That was from Coquitlam Chrysler in June'ish of 2002.
The going price around the lower mainland for that truck is $15,000.

Bob.

I'll agree with Bob.
When I bought mine last month, dealers wanted 14 - 15k for Club automatic 2wd. The 4x4 would be more. There is an auto 4x4 at a Duncan dealer for 14k in the Buy & Sell.
Terry
http://www.buysell.com/showad.asp?id=21459227
