Question Whats My First Gen Worth?

If I was to sell it today, what could I get?

1992 D-250 CTD, I/C, Turbo, 145K Miles, Extended Cab, Auto, White Out, Red In

Pictures: From the Back - From the Front

(Not the best, I just went down to the parking lot and took them after I realized I didnt have any on file. heh)

Recent Work:
  • Front Brakes (Calipers, Rotors, Bearings, Pads) - LLTW via Firestone
  • 4 New Tires: BF Goodrich Commercial T/A (E Loadrange - 10 Ply)
  • Master Cylinder
  • Exhaust from Firewall Back (Good Pipe, Turned Down at Axle)
  • 4 New Shocks - LLTW via Sears
  • Alignment - LLTW via Firestone
  • New Tierods (Both Sides, Inner & Outer)
  • Upper Control Arm Bushing (Both Sides)

(All done within last 6 months)

Problems:
  • Injector Pump Needs Resealed - Leaking
  • Headliner Needs Replaced - Thumbtacks hold it up now.
  • Seats are worn, center console not present.
  • Driver's side rear cab window tint mismatched, doesn't open.
  • Driver's side door and rocker panel each have a rust spot through about 2". No other rust anywhere except for bed which is of the light surface variety.
  • Rear Bed Cap Leaks
  • Cruise Control Non-Working
  • Driver's side window binds up internally, still runs up and down but you sometimes have to pull the armrest towards you to clear the way for it.
  • Radio and speakers work when and if they want to.
  • Grid Heaters Disconnected
  • Dash 6" Hole Over Gauge Clusters Due to Plastic Becoming Brittle
  • Carpets Clean Up Fairly Well, But a Couple Stains Here and There
  • Hood Hinges Need Adjustment, Hood Shuts Crooked

Updates:
  • Laverne Receiver for Trailer Hitch
  • Very Heavy Chromed Deer Guard on Front (Slightly Pitted, Not Bad)

If not mentioned above as a problem, assume it works. The paint is good everywhere except for the door and rocker panel as mentioned, and it still shines.

go to kbb.com the will have a exact pricing for your truck just make sure you fill everything out correctly also if you gave us the milage on the truck that would help a lot. if theres 12000 miles on it you can probably get a lot but if it has 400000 miles and falling apart then youl get nothing for it

KBB says:

Excellent $4,500
Good $4,200
Fair $3,850

Probably in the ball park, I still don't put much stock in them. They might have gotten this one close (I'd say they are still low by about 500 for the top two categories).

In our area, that truck would probably easily fetch $5K.

Shoot, I'm gonna go 1st Gen shopping in your neck of the woods. $2K for a 1st gen cause of 2 little rush holes that look like a piece of mud stuck to the door instead of a hole? What a steal!

No, its not. Its worth what I want to sell it for AND what a buyer is willing to pay. If the two don't meet, its worth more to me than to them and thus it doesn't sell.

Yeah, there is alot of small stuff on the list. I have plans for it (that don't include selling it - its not for sale - just curious on value), just have been busier than hell these last few months with work so if its not something that MUST be fixed for it to be safe/operational, I haven't bothered to fix it.
