PDR super hx40

Your gonna wanna gate it at like 35-40 psi or you'll hurt the headgasket.

an S300G would be too small for 6x16's and pump tweaks

With stock pump settings, you could run either an HX40 or S300G, but with pump tuning, it will get hot, especially while towing.

I've always been told that even the baseline S300G will flow more air than an HX40, but I'm not sure if that applies to the "Super."

For under 400rwhp, the Super HX40 is a great turbo, for towing and daily driving, but over that is S300 territory.

I thought that the hx-40 was smaller than a s300 and flowed more air..so wouldnt the s300 be lower egts than the hx-40 because it flows more air.

Yep, the S300G will flow more air than a regular HX40. I'm not sure how it compares to a Super HX40 though.

How do you plan on keeping your pump tuned? Are you panning on keeping the fuel screw turned in?

If you are, I would go straight to a 62/71/14 S300.

It's a little laggy, but when it lights, it spools real quick.

It really depends on the fuel screw, but I'm sure you could keep it under 1200*.
