Today my oil pressure gauge started acting up. At idle it would go down as far as the needle can go but then come back up while driving.I went and got myself a tubing kit with fittings since i already had a mechanical guage in my garage and once i got it all hooked up i can almost peg the 80 psi gauge while up in the rpm's and when the truck warmed up at idle the gauge read 40.

 

Sounds about right for pressure.
