What is it with Grills? Grilles, Grill's...I dunno
I've been noticing, after looking at MANY pics here, and every first gen I see on the road that the grills put on first gen's seems to be whatever Dodge had laying around that day.
To get to the point My truck is a '92 W250. and from what I've seen, dang near all the other '92s (and 93s) have the word DODGE embossed on the grill and mine don't.
Was this some weird mid year model change, or is my grill simply not OEM?
It's nothing major. Not like my truck will EVER be a show truck or anything. Just something that's been puzzling me.

I thought it was funny in one of those Steven Segal movies, I forget which one, he cuffed a perp to the grill on his 2nd gen Dodge. Returned later to find the grill broken, perp gone, commenting "cheap plastic," or something to that effect.

You can get the "D" "O" "G" and "E" from your local Dodge dealer - but they won't look quite right because they are slightly recessed into the OEM grille.
Also, the second "D" is discontinued.

well
the early ones have the metal outter rim with plastic in the middle only, but you can replace that, the non i/c trucks with banks intercooling have that metal tube grill in place of stock to give clearance for the intercooler.

A good junkyard will have busted up grill's laying around or still on the busted up truck where you can get the letters you need. After breaking the tabs off the back of the letters and epoxying them to your fake grill, nobody will ever know the difference. It will look much better than without the letters.
