What do you guys run for a trans cooler?

Guys how big of an auto trans cooler do you guys run? is it the stock one? and is it enough cooling?

Use a big one to keep that nice Art Carr convertor and TH400 alive, we acually took the factory oil cooler off my 97 12v and used it for the tranny cooler on my brother in laws Pro Street VE pumped 12v, seems to work very well, exp. if the engine coolant temp stays around 140-160*. Not sure if any of the 1st gens came with the cooler im talking about or not, its black, bought the size of a baseball round and prob. 15-18 inches long...... and has a 1/2" hose barb on each end for the coolant hoses...maybe thier 5/8

I run a Flex a lite cooler pt#45951 which can be seen here:

It does a gret job cooling my trans fluid and was a decent price. Amazon has them for $239.

I have a Derale under the bed with fan switched automatically at 180*.

Just be sure and use 1/2" lines and cooler.
