Looks good, but I love the stock cab lights. I think all trucks, 3/4 ton or 1ton should've come with cab lights.

Are that many cab lights legal in Texas? I'm 99% sure they aren't here in Pennsylvania.

I know for state inspection that any light on a vehicle must be lit to pass, but I would definately get the book out if I saw his truck roll into the garage. I will check the PA inspection book just out of curiosity.

we started using 10 cab lights on my dads 98.5 about 4 years ago then it seemed like it exploded around here. as far as i know its legal as long as orange goes forward, im not really worried about it though, i like the way it looks.
as far as running the wire we fished it between the two pieces of cab using a piece of bailing wire.

Back in the early 1970's I know it was changed from the minimum of 3 evenly spaced forward facing yellow/amber lights located at the center front of the cab roof to "exactly 3 evenly spaced forward facing yellow/amber lights located at the center front of the cab and one forward facing yellow/amber light located at each front cab roof corner, minimum of two" (one on each corner). I think this was a new federal highway regulation that pertained to any vehicle of 8 feet in width. I had a dump truck back then that failed inspection because it only had the three center mounted cab lights.

I think you will find that as long as all the lights work nobody will bother with it. There are tons of trucks lit up with no legal issues. I was certified for fleet inspections and I don't remember hearing anything about number of lights. If they were the wrong color there would be a problem with that.

I like it! Do you have the corresponding lights along the bottom of the front bumper?, and down the side of the truck? I have been wanting to install marker lights on my truck but I have been to lazy so far.
