What are the best and brightest LED taillights?

And which aftermarket headlights are best.? I'd like a clear cutoff pattern like my Audi has.

I bought headlights on ebay. They use the H4 bulb. I did have to cut out the headlight bucket a bit to make them fit.

They do have a cut off, like my '06 Jetta and my '82 MB that has the ecode OEM Bosch headlights.

With regards to the headlights - quality LED headlamps are BIG money. I can't find it right now but somewhere I recently read a review of the various LED headlamps and will look for it again:

http://www.jwspeaker.com/other/led-headlamps JW Speake LED's

I had good luck with e-code H4 conversion bulbs and the headlight relay upgrade.

i don't think there is actually any led tail light assemblies for these truck like there is for the new trucks. now i have heard some good things about the 1157-x45-T lights sold at superbrightleds but at $25 per light i would be wondering if it is worth it? i don't have any issues with the stock lights. now if you live in the U.S. you might be able to track down a set of lights like Jim Lane used. they appear to work good and were not too expensive.

I have LED headlights from Truck Lite. They are quite a bit brighter than stock and draw a lot less power so the head light switch should last a lot longer. The downside, they are pricey.

I changed my tailgate lights to leds. Things are super bright. No need for brighter taillights now! if you miss the 5 lights across the tailgate you weren't going to see me anyways.

I was going to take photos of them beside my 93 with the stock lights just for comparison, just never got around to it, maybe next week when I get home. Photos of the lights in in two different truck is not very scientific but you would get the idea. The truck lites are not $500 dollars brighter than stock but are substantially brighter. You can see farther in front and the beams shine wider into the ditches on the side. The color is good, no blue tinge. They bolt right in place of the stock headlights, took 10 mins to change. When the lights are off they look blacked out, looks kind of cool. Another down side is the frost on a damp winter day sticks to them reducing light output because they don't get hot enough to melt it like a stock bulb. Only happened a couple of times and even covered in frost they were brighter than the stock bulbs. The lens is easy to keep clean other wise, dirt and mud just doesn't seem to stick to them. I figured I would give them a try as the $500 they cost me is a lot lower than my insurance deductible if I was to hit a deer on the highway. There are hundreds of them along highway 17 to Lloydminster.

Dang it! Now I want a set but that is almost the price of a camshaft! I was kinda hoping you would say they are not worth the money. No worries about frost really down here in the devil's armpit I live in.

I would almost bet that you wouldn't pay $500 for a pair of Truck Lites in Az. We get hosed on everything we buy in Canada.
