Exclamation What about this Water Meth Setup??

What I want to do is use my extra nitrous port in my nitrous nozzle that used to be used for fuel on my nitrous nozzle to now be used for water/methanol?

I want to use a fuel pump to power it. I want the fuel pump to get water methanol from my windshield washer bottle. I will then run a hose from the windshield washer bottle to the nitrous fuel solenoid. I want it then to pump the water/methanol to my extra nitrous solenoid that is connected to my nitrous nozzle that is no longer in use as this kit was a wet kit from a Nissan I had... I will hook up a switch that runs both the fuel pump for the water/ methanol injection and the nitrous fuel solenoid (that I would now be using for water methanol. Then I want to hook the nitrous oxide solenoid to one switch and the water methanol (old nitrous fuel solenoid) to another but I want to use the same nozzle for both. But I would not want to run nitrous oxide and water methanol at the same time. (That way I don’t have to drill two holes into the intake/intake tubing. And I can create a cheap water/ methanol kit) I would then change the nitrous fuel jets being used for the water methanol until I could get the water methanol to where I need it to by, where I can lower the exhaust gas temperatures and raise my power ratings. I am using the nitrous express shark nozzle which turns the water methanol into a vapor so I wouldn’t find this to be a problem and it wouldn’t drip in. I don't plan on using this but for short bursts, So to say running at 100+mph. So I haven't decided on a pressure switch or just a push button switch.

Any Response on this would be helpful? Negative and positive comments welcome PLEASE!!

Here’s a diagram, hope you guys can understand it, and it’s not the best diagram but hope it explains?

Click on the diagram to enlarge it.

I'm not actually running water methanol injection on my truck yet but i have looked at a lot of systems and i can't see why yours wouldn't work. It seems to be the same idea as long as it is a mist which it should spray nicely though a nitrous nozzle. I would run a test spray before putting it in the intake since the water mix is going to be heavier than the nitrous and may spray differently through your jet but play with it a bit and post again if you decide to go ahead with it. You have actually inspired me, I'm goin down to my shop to round up some parts to build a similar setup i will post when i get it done maybe later today even. good luck.

I don't know much about H2O/Meth systems, but I'm all for rollin' your own when that is doable. Often results in a better outcome for less cost if you know what you're doing.

NOW, you've got my attention.

Go into details as to just what was done, please.

i will hand draw a diagram, scan it (if my scanner works) and put it on here to make it so much easier for people to read, and i will get pic's of the set up in my truck, it actually does not look that bad at all. but before i get pic's of it i want to clean up the set up some more after testing it out more to make sure all works out. I am going to my garage right now at 1:00am to spend at least until 7:00am tuning it all up and making sure its right where i want it. I might not be reposting until tomorrow around 6pm as I'm 19 years old and think mud bogging is fun, so that could be what i'm doing in a little bit, so long as i dont scratch the paint!!

The fuel pump will not be happy pumping the water/meth. That stuff is very corrosive, that's why we use diaphragm pumps.

I think most are using ag-chemical type spray pumps, such as Shur-Flo brand, etc.

Northern Tool has a large selection to look at.

Not sure exactly who has the best pricing.

I have seen entire tank sprayers priced for less than the same pump priced alone; so, it will pay to check around.
