wh1c question

I am thinking of buying a used wh1c turbo that i don't really need but would like to have lol and i was wondering 1. what would be a reasonable price and also 2. how they compare to hx35(wich is better) and lastly 3. would it be a good cheep upgrade from a baby h1c or should i hold out and wait till i have more money for a better turbo?? keep in mind i am only buying this cause of the price. Thanks,Ryan

From what I have read, they are just wastegated versions of an intercooled H1C. So an HX35 would be a better choice, but I would put my money towards a better turbo, unless you can get one for next to nothing.

that Wh1c on your truck would be really fun with the 12cm housing and the 5 speed, you'll love it!

The HX35 and Wh1C are almost the same except how they go together and the HX35 has a MWE slot so you can't bark the turbo as easily.

unless you get the thing for $50 then i'd just save you money.

the Wh1C or HX35 or I/C H1C have a 56mm compressor compared to your now 50mm.

oh and all those turbos have bigger inlets and you'll need a different intake tube. (make one)

A WH1C has the MWE slot.

If your H1C is in good shape, you could just swap the compressor wheel and cover.

If the WH1C is in good shape, pull the silencer ring, drill the wastegate divider, and slap it on.
