I have the WH1C turbo on my 1st gen. and i think i am overboosting it. i push between 33-35psi and fixing to be alot more. Will the 60mm compressor upgrade be a good investment or do i need to get a different turbo? If the compressor housing upgrade is a good investment where can i get one?

thanks in advance

I dont think that it would be a bad idea. You will definatly save money. Check with HTT or Gillett they both carry upgrades for turbos.

It depends on how badly the mod bug bites , it may be a temp , depending on much you want in the future .
I'm hoping that I can stop at that up grade , been looking at those also .

POD's, a governor spring, timing set at 2mm of lift, max the pump out, old smokey fuel pin, and a HTT stage IV with a 12cm waste gated housing will make a hot 350hp.

Its the what the plunger lift in the injection pump measured at Top Dead Center, I think the typical 1/8 bump gets you close to that. You would need a dial indicator and the location of TDC to do it.

Probably not making anymore power past 35PSI since you're way out of the efficiency range of the turbo. Tune your wastegate so it opens earlier.
