Water/Meth & Boost Question

Water/Meth & Boost Question

Lets say your capable of making 33psi boost on #2 and with W/M your up to
40psi +, what happens when wour wastegate is set @ 35psi, will it fall on it's face?

I would say not.

Provided you're not capable of overpowering the wastegate, it should run just fine.

Either way, your wastegate is there to keep the turbo from over-spooling as well as keeping the available boost within the compressor's map.

mike T. my wastegate is set to 35psi... i can hit 35 psi without w/m and still only 35psi with watermeth. mine is a 12cm wg housing that i have drilled out the center divider to allow all 6 cylinders to waste.
