Brice,

You could use the reservoir but you're gonna need more psi than what it is capable of pumping! 150 and 220 are the norm. Most guys do a 50/50 mix or if you're brave, play with those ratios and go more on the meth. Plumb it in the intake horn. I don't know the cycle duration but it will cool EGT's quite a bit. Hang on a bit as more guys chime in.

You are looking at $90 to $150 for a pump. Not sure if you consider that cheap.

Don't do a toggle switch, use a pressure switch. Look through the switch book at your local NAPA or CarQuest and find one that switches on around 20 psi.

Get a 150 psi Hobbs kit and it will have everything you need. You can get them complete for less then $200. Coolingmist has them for sure and I would guess Snow and Devils Own has them also.

Since Hobbs kits are not flow adjustable (you can set the on / off point) you may have to try different nozzles till you get what you want. For the application you are talking about, start small then work you way up in size on the nozzles till you get the flow you want.

Because if you turn it on too soon or forget to turn it off you will hydrolock the engine. A pressure switch makes it automatic for about the same price as a toggle.
