i checked out the store and there kits seem pretty cheap, infact they dont show a difference between the diesel kits or supercharged gasser kits other than price... even the parts are the same. $190 is pretty cheap for a W/M kit. plus they are using shurflo pumps... which i think is what everyone else uses.

You'll be going through alot of water injecting it all the time if you're starting to spray as low as 10psi.

If it's spraying while you are trying to shift the engine will stop.

If you can spray at 10 psi you are not spraying enough water/meth to be worth the trouble.

You can spend more money and get a progressive controller for the pump and you can push a little at 10 psi up to a bunch at 30 psi boost. You can also tell it to dump a ton of water when you hit say 1250 EGT. There are a ton of different options out there.

That's definitely the best way to go for a work truck or really anything other than a dedicated sled puller.

i have a ford f150 (ya ya i know) for the D.D. i drive the dodge once to twice a week and pull a little VERRY LITTLE other than iam workin on making it a 10.0 sec truck ( as the $$$ comes in ) the only reason i drive it is so the bat don't go dead and the engine don't go to crap so is the progressive worth the extra $$?

I found this today to aint it the truth...................

99% of the time it would be for a daily driver.

No, you want it to kick on at 20 psi in any gear. The pressure switch will stop the spray when you shift and then as soon as you build boost again it will restart.

but spraying at 20psi is only giving you top end cooling (witch thats when its the hottest) but who runs around at 20 psi all day and iam done boosting at 28-30 and only see those #"s for 2-3 sec..... how much dose it help egt"s
and whats the progressive go for

Coolingmist is releasing a new model Varicool soon for around $200. I don't know what the other vendors like Snow, etc. have.

Are you interested in water/meth for cooling or for performance? Your strategy should be dictated by your goal.
