what are you guys mixing for a good 51/49 mix? I have been running some -20 blue washer fluid, but it doesn't say how much alcohol is in there. I want to dump some heat in, but I need to know the -20 ratio first. Does anyone run that boost juice or a similiar product? Worth the extra couple bucks?

The 2 bottles of heat, 24ozright? 1 gal of the blue -20? I guess im generalizing, assuming all -20 is the same, ? from napa, that is a 7 doller a gallon cocktail. Ace, what kind of egt drop do you see? Any difference in water to meth ratio's? Im still trying to dial everything in perfect..

Yeah, it's been running me about $6/gla, but I don't use it much. My vari-cool comes on at around 16psi boost, so it's not spraying unless I'm towing or romping on it. The only anecdotal EGT info I can relate is before I had the W/M I could drive EGT into the red zone towing up some of the long grades here. That's what initially prompted me to install it. I haven't been able to do that since, and I suspect it would now safely run WOT until the W/M resevoir runs dry. I'm using 2 Coolingmist .380 nozzles.
Now I have to call Snow Performance down in the springs - thanks "J."

I use methanol and water (50/50%) as well. As such, I don't see any net cooling effect on the EGTs.
Methanol was about $3.25 a gallon around here some months ago.

I've got an 8 gallon tank and usually split a 5 gal can of methanol with my boss - 3 for him and 2 for me. I mix it 50/50 and add enough windsheild washer fluid to give it color. I figure this get me to about a 51/49 mix. I have had no problem finding sealed 5 gallon cans of methanol - price has been an issue. The last price I was quoted was $76.00 for 5 gallons - a little steep.
