vss pigtail

vss pigtail
my plug going into my vss is cracked and will not stay connected. i was just wondering if somebody knows a part number or knows if you can even get a new pigtail

Back in the day, I remember one of the Dodge VSS part numbers came with a pigtail included. It was a conversion harness that was never needed on our applications. I really can't remember what the application was, it may have been the D/W trucks like yours or maybe a Caravan. This is probably useless information anyway, just thinking if you ordered a VSS from Dodge for your truck, it may come with the connector you need, if it isn't obsolete.

It's part number 4460347, it has a plug like the VSS uses on 1 end and a male/female bullet connector on the other.
Got a couple in a box of old NOS stuff a while back and figured, like you have, that they WOULD work for splicing in to replace bad VSS plugs.
