Anyone parting out a 94-97 truck? I need the wiring on the truck that goes to the fuel sending unit, with the wires cut off like 6 inches up from the plug. I bought a sending unit for my 98, and Napa didn't sell one for a 98, so being a 12V I figured it would be the same as the 97, well... it must be the same as the 99, because the plug on the 98 is bigger than the receptical on the 97 sending unit.

So anyone got one to spare for me, pretty please?

 

Any junkyards around? The canister for a gasser is the same as a diesel. Mine has 6 pins in the plug, but only two are actually used (for the fuel level sensor). I could give you the female end from a canister, but not the pigtail.

 

Yeah I called around to junkyards, the only way they'll sell it to me as a whole wiring harness, for about $50...

 

The plug only would be more than that at a dealer probably. No u-pull-it yards around? If you haven't found one in 2 weeks PM me. I'll be back in TX and will look in the yard that is there.

 

Well, there are quite a few U-Pull it yards around, but we have 2+ feet of snow on the ground, covering ice. Most of the yards won't let guys out there during this crap thanks to NY liability laws.
