very little power gain.not sure why

i would pull the top back off and see if that lever isnt broke, or your gov spring didnt come unhooked, thats all i can think of at the moment, it sounds like one of the two, i know mine felt like it had 100 horse but it was noticeable, yours should have gotton alot better, but it got worse, that leads me to think it was somethin in the pump,

BTW, that was my way of sayin " keep the drama off the threads" keep them in pm's, soaps are on tv, not dtr

Could lack of Fuel Pressure (Lift Pump) be the cause ? Maybe its on its way out & already givin all its got.

i know mine didnt run any different with a wore out lp just lacked alittle at hight top end, and he said it smokes like a banchee so its got fuel there, just how much when the pump advances, that and if the fuel screw didnt change performance it leads me to think something is wrong inside, somebody correct me if im wrong

When I put in a piston lift pump, I cut my smoke about 2/3, and gained 4-5psi peak boost, no other changes, so his lift pump could be maxed out. The VE will pull fuel on its own, but not for the power we demand from it.
