VE pump bolts
Anyone know how to get the back bolt that is closest to the valve cover off to get to the governor spring, I’m afraid I’m going to end up stripping it out and causing a bigger problem

Look in the FAQ's at the top of this section, also use the search function. Everything you ever wanted to know is there.

You need to take the idle screw out or run it forward far enough so you can get to the bolt, it also helps to have ball end allens

Welp..
I ended up buying a set of ball ended Allen’s but not before I stripped the **** out of the bolt, ended up cutting a notch in it with a sharp chisel and sticking a screwdriver and turning the screw driver with an adjustable wrench, but I got it out and finally got the governor spring and bd fuel pin installed, it’s a whole new beast, did a second gear launch at about 2500 rpm and let off when I grabbed third because I scared myself!
